Bebe's Breakfast at Tiffany's Birthday Brunch

Last summer I threw my dog Jolie a Summer Safari Birthday Party. It was loud, colorful, and very memorable. Shortly after that I began to brainstorm for my dog Bebe's Birthday party in January. You see Bebe is a little bit older than Jolie so I wanted something sophisticated, classy and elegant.

So I thought what says that better than Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's?

I spent roughly about two months envisioning the idea I had for the party. I knew that I wanted shades of teal, turquoise and white surrounding my living room and a candy station spread across the table. I wanted the event to be a brunch with croissants, breakfast bakes, coffee and sparkling wine. I wanted my guests to wear little black dresses and pearls, but mostly I wanted the attention to be on the birthday girl and her fur friends.

If I was going to have dogs at my party than I better well make sure they have treats and toys no? I reached out to Pawty Time Gifts and Treats. I discovered them through a doggyloot deal last summer and purchased the treats for the safari party there. The treats were such a success last summer that when it came time to decide treats for this birthday party I knew that I would ask Pawty Time Treats and Gifts to make some magic happen. And did they ever...

Take a closer look at these organic treats
They were a success, check the video below to see my dogs begging for them!
As if the treats weren't fabulous enough I had Sniffany squeaky toys made for Bebe's fur guests! One toy had catnip because we had a very fabulous kitty attend the pawty, Ms. Kitty Couture. Here is Jolie (my other dog) trying to take ownership of all the toys by sitting above them.
Here's a video of the treats that went into the gift bags
And the finished product!
I spent a long time thinking about what dress I wanted Bebe to wear. I had originally purchased her a satin turquoise dress with a white satin bow. I purchased two on for her and one for Jolie, but as the weeks progressed I felt it wasn't fabulous enough. So I headed over to one of my favorite online retailers - Posh Puppy Boutique and proceeded to pick the perfect dress:
How cute does Bebe look?
Naturally no Tiffany party could be complete without a Tiffany box cake.
From the wonderful Cake Artist Cafe in Cranford, NJ this creation was made:

We had a blast!
